What is community acupuncture?

Community acupuncture sessions are held in groups on the Gold Coast, in a large room with massage tables and reclining chairs placed in a comfortable and respectful distance. Patients sessions are scheduled 15 minutes apart in order to have an individual consultation with the acupuncturist. Needles are then inserted for around 30 mins. A treatment is 45 minutes in total.

The treatments are primarily on the front of the body and mainly on distal points (legs, arms, hands, feet, ears), so it is better to wear loose and comfortable outfits. We won’t expose part of the body that can make you uncomfortable.
